1.  Be yourself - this sounds cliche but nobody likes a fake person, so just         act natural.

2.  Be punctual - be on time to meetings and complete your tasks on             time.

3.  Dress appropriately - you can find out the dress code in advance of             joining the company.

4.  Smile and laugh - this will make you seem more natural and friendly!

5.  Have an idea of what you want to achieve.

6.  Be ready to learn (especially from those around you).

7.  Know where you're going and how to get there.
